IATA/FIATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) - Initial
The Dangerous Good Regulations (DGR) course meets the training requirements for personnel listed in category 3 as per Table 1.5.A of the IATA DGR.
How You Will Benefit
Apply the IATA Cargo Dangerous Goods Regulations correctly
Understand the legal aspects and the responsibility of the shippers, agents and airlines involved in the transport of dangerous goods
Identify and classify individual dangerous goods items
Verify that the goods are properly packed, marked and labelled
Fill in and check the "Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods"
Complete Air Waybills in accordance with the applicable IATA rules and procedures
Deliver dangerous goods shipments to the airlines "ready for carriage"

Persons holding the IATA/FIATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Certificate are considered qualified under the terms of the IATA Resolutions applicable to IATA's accreditation

Examinations:Students may be required to take examinations at an exam centre that is not in their home city or country of enrolment. All travel and personal expenses and travel documentation are the students' responsibility. The IATA Local Co-ordinator determines the exact date and location of the examination.

  1. Having transportation dangerous goods training will definitely have a lot of benefit not just for the worker but for the company and the people around those goods being transported. If people know how to properly handle those goods, how to react on certain scenarios, and knows what to do in with those goods, we can avoid things like accidents or hazardous chemicals having an effect to the environment or the living things near it.
